Ahimsa Yoga (Non Violence)
Saturday June 13, 2026 9:00am - 9:45am EDT
Ahimsa in ActionNon-Harming as a Living Practice
Within the eightfold path outlined in the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, the Yamas and Niyamas form the ethical foundation of yoga. They are not rules meant to restrict us, but guideposts that refine how we relate to ourselves and the world.
The very first Yama is Ahimsa.
Often translated simply as “non-harming,” Ahimsa invites something much deeper than avoiding violence. It asks us to examine the subtle ways we cause harm through thought, speech, and action and to consciously choose compassion instead.
In this class, we will explore how Ahimsa lives inside the physical practice of yoga.
What does non-harming look like on the mat?
It looks like:
• Listening when the body whispers before it has to scream
• Choosing steadiness over ego
• Backing off when something feels unstable
• Letting comparison dissolve
• Replacing self-criticism with curiosity
Rather than pushing into shapes to prove something, we soften into awareness. We practice honoring our edges without forcing beyond them. We learn to move from self-respect instead of self-judgment.
Ahimsa is self-love in motion.
As we move through mindful sequencing, you’ll be guided to tune into sensation, breath, and internal dialogue. The practice becomes less about performance and more about presence.
When we embody non-harming physically, something shifts off the mat as well. The patience we cultivate with our hamstrings becomes patience with our family. The compassion we offer our tight shoulders becomes compassion in conversation.
Yoga begins with how we treat ourselves.
Through breath, alignment, and conscious choice, this class becomes a living meditation on gentleness.
Not weak.
Not passive.
But powerful in its softness.
Move kindly.
Listen deeply.
Practice Ahimsa in your body and in your life.

Opening Meditation "may all beings be happy"
Saturday June 13, 2026 9:00am - 10:00am EDT
Opening Meditation: “May All Beings Be Happy”with Mara Morell of Mrida Seva Yoga
As the sun stretches over Montage Mountain Waterpark and the festival begins to hum, Mara Morell will guide us into our first shared breath of the weekend.
“May All Beings Be Happy” is a heart-centered opening meditation rooted in loving-kindness, or metta, an ancient practice that gently widens the circle of compassion from self… to community… to the entire world.
Through guided meditation, mantra, and intentional silence, Mara will lead us in:
• Softening into presence
• Cultivating compassion for ourselves
• Extending blessings outward to all beings
• Setting a unified intention for the weekend ahead
This is not just a meditation.
It is the energetic cornerstone of the festival.
Together, hundreds of voices will anchor one simple yet profound prayer:
May all beings be happy.
May all beings be peaceful.
May all beings live with ease.
Whether you are brand new to meditation or deeply rooted in your practice, this opening gathering invites you to arrive fully, open your heart, and remember that yoga begins in how we hold the world.
Come early. Bring your mat. Bring your quiet courage.
We begin as one. 🕊️✨

Saturday June 13, 2026 10:00am - 11:00am EDT
The Journey to Handstand is much much more than being able to do a fun party trick. It’s about the Journey of overcoming fear, showing up, consistency, failing way more then succeeding, practicing of letting go and meeting yourself where you are, meeting new friends and building cOMmUNITY. Then in time the Handstand cOMes when You are ready. It becOMes a meditation in complete balance. The true treasure of the handstand is not the handstand itself. The True treasure is in the Journey to the Handstand. Much like the Yoga practice the journey from the self, to the self, Through the Self.

Embodied Courage: Somatics, Nervous System Safety & Spiritual Practice
Saturday June 13, 2026 10:00am - 11:00am EDT
In a world shaped by chronic stress, trauma exposure, and social division, yoga must move beyond performance and return to embodiment. This lecture explores how nervous system literacy and somatic awareness deepen yoga as a spiritual practice—supporting safety, agency, and authentic expression.

Topics include nervous system regulation in modern yoga spaces, the difference between intensity and regulation, trauma-informed language as spiritual integrity, and how “rooting” creates sustainable expansion. Participants will learn accessible nervous system mapping, experience brief somatic practices, and leave with a practical framework for integrating somatics into personal practice or teaching.

Monkey Mind to Master Mind
Saturday June 13, 2026 11:00am - 12:00pm EDT
One-Pointed AwarenessThe Heart of Yoga
At its essence, the goal of yoga is not flexibility. Not performance. Not even relaxation.
It is one-pointed thought.
In Sanskrit, this state is called ekāgratā — a steady, unified focus of the mind. In the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, yoga is defined as “Yoga chitta vritti nirodhah” — the quieting of the fluctuations of the mind. When the mental waves settle, awareness becomes clear and undivided.
Most of our energy is scattered.
Pulled into memory.
Projected into the future.
Fragmented by distraction.
Yoga gathers that energy back.
Through asana, breath, mantra, and meditation, we train the mind to rest on a single point. The breath. A sensation. A sacred sound. An internal focal point.
When attention stops bouncing, something remarkable happens.
Clarity sharpens.
Presence deepens.
Inner noise softens.
This one-pointed awareness is the doorway to meditation, known as dharana, which eventually blossoms into dhyana and samadhi — deeper states of absorption described in classical yoga philosophy.
On the mat, one-pointed focus may look like steady gaze in a balancing pose.
In pranayama, it may be tracking the subtle pause between inhale and exhale.
In meditation, it may be returning again and again to a mantra.
The practices are many. The aim is singular.
A unified mind.
A steady inner flame.
When thought becomes one-pointed, we experience not effort, but alignment. Not striving, but simplicity.
Yoga is the art of remembering how to rest attention fully in this moment.
One breath.
One focus.
One clear stream of awareness.

Saturday Morning: JourneyDance®: Embodying Abundance
Saturday June 13, 2026 12:00pm - 1:00pm EDT
JourneyDance®: Embodying Abundance

Abundance as an internal state, cultivated through joy, pleasure, presence, and shared movement.

In yoga philosophy, abundance is not accumulation — it’s alignment. It’s the experience of enoughness that arises when we are present in our bodies and connected to one another.

This somatic movement experience explores abundance not as something to chase, but as something to feel.

Through grounded, choice-based movement, we’ll move from individual awareness into collective rhythm — exploring breath, expression, and community as pathways to embodied fullness.

Abundance here is not excess — it is aliveness.

Participants will leave with:
- A joy-centered oracle card — featuring a guiding word and reflection prompt to reconnect with embodied abundance beyond the festival
- The “Joy Anchor” practice — a simple 2-minute nervous-system reset they can use anytime they feel disconnected from aliveness
- A curated 3-song “Abundance Reset” playlist — designed to guide them from grounding to expansion, so they can revisit the experience of joy through movement at home

All movement is invitational and choice-based. All are welcome. No experience needed.

Sabai & Stretch Class
Saturday June 13, 2026 12:00pm - 1:00pm EDT
Sabai-In Thai, sabai (สบาย) means to be happy, relaxed, or at ease. The phrase can describe a state of being, a comfortable feeling, or a general sense of well-being. When repeated as "sabai sabai," it intensifies the meaning to "everything is chill," "not a care in the world," or "easygoing".

Sabai & Stretch
Class will start with Wai Kru, or prayer, to give thanks to The Father Doctor and all of those who came before us. Once completed and partners are chosen students will then be lead through 8-10 assisted stretches. Both the giver and reciever will benefit from this however, once the sequence is completed roles will be switched; the giver will become the reciever and vise versa. The sequence will then be repeated. Class will end with a moment of gratitude for our partner's, our teachers, and the yoga community as a whole.

We are all able to stretch and take time for ourselves, but sometimes we do in fact need a little help from our friends. This class is about bringing people together, and remembering that we are always stronger together.

Takeaway: Each child receives a “Brave Breath” card: Smell the flower, Blow out the candle plus a reflection question: “What helps me feel strong when I’m upset?” Class ends with a calming “Brave Heart Rest” visualization so kids leave grounded and empowered.

Breathe and BE
Saturday June 13, 2026 1:00pm - 2:00pm EDT
Breathe & BEwith Heather Lyon
Before movement… there was breath.
In the yogic tradition, prāṇāyāma is not simply a breathing technique. It is the conscious expansion of prāṇa — life force itself. The sages taught that breath is the bridge between body and mind, between the visible and the subtle.
In Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, pranayama is the fourth limb of the eightfold path. Patanjali writes that through regulation of breath, the veil covering the inner light is thinned. In other words, when we refine the breath, we refine perception.
In the Hatha Yoga Pradipika, the breath is described as the master key to the nervous system and the mind. “When the breath wanders, the mind is unsteady. When the breath is still, so is the mind.”
This class is rooted in that lineage.
Through conscious connected breathing, immersive music, and grounded spiritual guidance, Heather leads you into an experience that moves beyond technique and into direct encounter with your own vitality.
This style of breathwork can:
• Clear stagnant emotional energy
• Activate the subtle body
• Expand awareness
• Create a natural state of uplifted consciousness
• Offer a euphoric sense of spaciousness and release
Participants often describe feeling luminous, open, deeply alive. Not altered, but awakened. A remembering of something ancient that already lives within you.
Breath becomes prayer.
Breath becomes purification.
Breath becomes a doorway.
You may feel waves of sensation. You may feel profound stillness. You may feel insight rise effortlessly to the surface. Every journey is unique, and Heather holds the space with reverence, safety, and intention.
No substances.
No escape.
Just prāṇa moving freely.
Come lie down.
Soften the body.
Follow the breath into the subtle realms.
And rediscover what it means to truly BE. 🕊️✨

Japa Mantra Meditation with Mala Beads
Saturday June 13, 2026 2:00pm - 3:00pm EDT
Japa Mantra MeditationLearning the Sacred Practice of Mala Beads
This class offers a grounded and accessible introduction to Japa Mantra Meditation, an ancient devotional practice rooted in the yogic tradition and referenced in texts such as the Bhagavad Gita and the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali.
The word japa means “to repeat softly,” and mantra means “instrument of the mind.” Together, Japa is the rhythmic repetition of a sacred sound, word, or phrase to steady the mind and awaken deeper awareness.
In this workshop-style class, students will learn:
• The history and spiritual significance of Japa meditation
• The structure and symbolism of the 108-bead mala
• How to hold and move through the beads properly
• The purpose of the guru bead
• Breath coordination with mantra repetition
• How to choose or connect with a mantra
Traditionally, a mala contains 108 beads, representing spiritual wholeness and the cyclical nature of existence. Each bead becomes an anchor for attention. With every repetition of the mantra, the practitioner gently moves to the next bead, creating a tactile rhythm that keeps the mind from wandering.
This practice activates the parasympathetic nervous system through repetition and breath regulation, while also cultivating focus, devotion, and inner stillness. The vibration of mantra is said to refine consciousness and purify mental fluctuations.
Students may work with a universal mantra such as “Om,” “So Hum,” or a loving-kindness phrase, depending on the intention of the practice.
Expect:
• Gentle guidance into seated meditation
• Instruction on mala use and etiquette
• Group mantra repetition
• Silent personal japa
• Reflection and integration
This practice can be devotional or secular. It can be done for five minutes or an hour. What matters most is sincerity and consistency.
Japa is meditation with movement.
With rhythm.
With intention.
One bead.
One breath.
One mantra at a time.

Rise & Root: A Somatic Summer Awakening
Saturday June 13, 2026 3:00pm - 4:00pm EDT
Summer calls us to expand — to take up space, speak clearly, and live boldly. But true expansion begins with grounding. This trauma-informed somatic flow explores the balance between rooting and rising through the yogic principle of Sthira & Sukha — steadiness and ease.

Class begins with gentle settling and embodied breathwork to support nervous system regulation and a sense of safety. From there, we build gradually into slow spinal waves, grounded standing postures, and intentional heart-opening shapes that cultivate strength without force. Throughout the practice, students are guided to move with awareness rather than performance — exploring what Sthira (stability) and Sukha (softness/space) feel like in real time: Where do I brace? Where can I soften? Where am I ready to expand with steadiness?

This experience emphasizes choice-based language, accessibility, and integration over choreography. We close with guided reflection and a practical takeaway students can carry into everyday life, including a simple 3-breath grounding tool and the mantra:

“I rise because I am rooted.”

Alchemy – A Sacred Sound Journey
Saturday June 13, 2026 3:00pm - 4:00pm EDT
Alchemy is a heart-opening sound immersion designed to guide participants into deep meditative presence and nervous system restoration. Rooted in ancient sound techniques and anchored by traditional Tibetan singing bowls, this journey weaves earth-rooted tones and harmonic resonance into a vibrational field that supports both energetic and somatic healing.
Participants are invited to soften into a receptive state where the body can recalibrate, the mind can quiet, and the subtle energy systems can realign.
Alchemy is the art of transmutation. Within this container of resonance and rest, we transform density into openness, intention into embodiment, and dreams into grounded reality.
This is an invitation to surrender, to receive, and to remember the innate wisdom that lives within vibration.

Metta or Loving Kindness Meditation
Saturday June 13, 2026 3:00pm - 4:00pm EDT
This meditation is rooted in the ancient Buddhist practice of Loving-Kindness, known in Pali as Metta Bhavana, meaning “the cultivation of boundless goodwill.” For centuries, practitioners have used this simple yet profound method to soften the heart, dissolve resentment, and awaken compassion as a lived experience rather than an idea.
At its core, this meditation uses five intentional phrases that are repeated gently, like planting seeds in the soil of the mind. The practice traditionally moves in widening circles:
  1. Ourselves
  2. Someone we love or feel gratitude toward
  3. Someone neutral
  4. Someone difficult
  5. All beings everywhere
We begin with ourselves because compassion cannot authentically extend outward if it does not first take root within. From there, the heart expands gradually, including those who are easy to love and eventually those who challenge us. The practice culminates in extending loving-kindness to all beings without exception, dissolving the illusion of separation.
The classic phrases often sound like:
• May I be safe.
• May I be healthy.
• May I be peaceful.
• May I live with ease.
• May I be free.
These phrases are then adapted as the focus shifts:
“May you be safe…”
“May you be peaceful…”
“May all beings be free…”
The wording is flexible. What matters most is the sincerity behind it. The phrases can be tailored to reflect what feels authentic and aligned, as long as they arise from a genuine place of care and goodwill.
This practice can be:
• A focused five-minute daily reset
• A full hour of deep heart cultivation
• Practiced in one complete arc
• Or explored one category at a time depending on what the heart needs
It is traditionally practiced seated in meditation, but it can also be done lying down, walking slowly, or even integrated into yoga asana or daily life. The beauty of Metta is its accessibility.
For seasoned meditators, it refines and deepens compassion.
For beginners, it offers structure and simplicity.
Over time, loving-kindness meditation has been shown to gently shift inner dialogue, reduce reactivity, and increase feelings of connection and well-being. Spiritually, it is said to purify the heart. Practically, it changes how we show up in the world.
This is not about forcing positive emotion. It is about cultivating the intention of goodwill, even if the feeling follows later.
One phrase.
One breath.
One widening circle at a time.

Are you ready to go beyond the surface of meditation?

This is an invitation inward.

We begin by softening into the breath—anchoring the body, steadying the mind, and opening the doorway to deeper awareness. From this grounded place, you will be guided into an immersive meditation designed to support inner expansion, insight, and soul-level exploration.

As stillness deepens, we transition into sacred movement through a mindful walking meditation. Here, the senses awaken. Sound becomes alive. Air touches the skin with meaning. Each step becomes intentional. Each moment becomes luminous.

Participants will be gently invited to explore heightened perception—experiencing meditation not only in stillness, but in motion… in awareness… in presence.

We close in circle with space for reflection, integration, and intuitive questions.

This experience is accessible to beginners and nourishing for seasoned seekers alike. Come as you are. Leave more fully yourself.

Yin & Sound: A Journey Into Stillness
Saturday June 13, 2026 4:00pm - 5:00pm EDT
Yin & Sound: A Journey Into Stillnesswith Heather Lyon
There is a quiet intelligence in the body that only speaks when we slow down.
In this deeply nourishing Yin & Sound experience, Heather weaves long-held yin postures with immersive sound healing to guide you into the subtle layers of being. This is not about stretching muscles. It is about softening the fascia, calming the nervous system, and opening energetic pathways so prāṇa can move freely.
Rooted in the wisdom of traditional yoga, yin invites us into sthira and sukha — steadiness and ease — principles described in the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali. Through surrender and stillness, we begin to dissolve the habitual tensions that veil clarity.
As you rest in each posture, Heather will bathe the space in healing frequencies from crystal bowls and sacred instruments. Sound has long been honored in yogic and Vedic traditions as vibration that reorganizes the subtle body. In Nada Yoga, the yoga of sound, it is said that creation itself began with vibration. When we immerse in sound consciously, we attune ourselves to that original resonance.
Expect:
• Long, supported yin holds to gently open the hips, spine, and heart
• Breath awareness to regulate the nervous system
• Layered sound frequencies to guide the brain into meditative states
• A closing integration to anchor the experience
You may feel heaviness melting. You may feel emotion rise and release. You may feel as if time has slowed to a sacred pause.
Yin asks you to soften.
Sound asks you to listen.
Together, they create a portal inward.
Come as you are. Bring layers, a blanket, and a willingness to surrender into stillness.
This is your permission to be held — by the earth beneath you, by vibration around you, and by the quiet wisdom within.

Signs From Loved Ones in Spirit: Understanding the Psychic ‘Clairs
Saturday June 13, 2026 4:00pm - 5:00pm EDT
When Spirit Speaks: Understanding Signs, Synchronicities & The Clairs

When someone we love passes, the connection doesn’t end, it simply changes form. In this lecture, psychic medium Tara Grossi will explore the many ways loved ones in spirit may continue to send us signs from repeating numbers and meaningful synchronicities to dreams, nature symbols, sensations, and intuitive impressions.

Tara will also discuss the intuitive senses known as the psychic “clairs”—including clairvoyance, clairaudience, clairsentience, and claircognizance, and how these abilities can help us better recognize and understand communication from the spirit world.

This heartfelt and insightful talk is designed to help you deepen your awareness, trust your intuition, and better understand how spirit may already be reaching out to you in ways you may not have realized.

With compassion, clarity, and real-life experiences, Tara will guide you through signs, symbolism, and the subtle ways connection continues beyond physical loss.

Sanctuary: A Slow Nervous System Journey
Saturday June 13, 2026 4:00pm - 5:00pm EDT
Stress-Relieving Slow Flow
Activating the Parasympathetic Nervous System
This class is a deliberate exhale.
Designed to calm the stress response and gently activate the parasympathetic nervous system, this slow flow invites the body out of fight-or-flight and into rest-and-restore. Through unhurried movement, extended exhales, and mindful transitions, we create the conditions for safety in the body.
When the breath slows, the heart follows.
When the pace softens, the mind steadies.
In this practice, you can expect:
• Slow, intentional sequencing
• Emphasis on lengthening the exhale
• Gentle spinal waves and grounded standing work
• Longer holds to encourage muscular release
• Simple breath ratios to stimulate vagal tone
The focus is not intensity. It is regulation.
By synchronizing breath and movement at a calm tempo, we signal to the nervous system that it is safe to downshift. Cortisol levels begin to lower. Muscular guarding eases. Digestion and immune function receive the green light to operate optimally.
This is the yoga of recalibration.
Perfect for anyone feeling overwhelmed, overstimulated, or simply in need of a nervous system reset, this class meets you exactly where you are. No pushing. No rushing. Just steady, grounded awareness.
You will leave feeling:
• Clearer
• More regulated
• Physically lighter
• Mentally quieter
Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is slow down enough to let the body remember how to heal.
Come move gently.
Come breathe deeply.
Come restore.

Gentle Somatic Yoga for Lymph FLOW
Saturday June 13, 2026 5:00pm - 6:00pm EDT
This gentle, rejuvenating class is designed to support your body’s natural detoxification process by stimulating the lymphatic system through mindful movement and breath. Unlike the circulatory system, the lymphatic system relies on movement to flow — and this practice is intentionally crafted to encourage just that.

Expect slow, rhythmic sequences, light pulsing movements, dynamic stretches, and intentional breathwork to promote circulation, reduce stagnation, and support immune health. We’ll incorporate twists, inversions, and targeted mobility work to awaken areas where lymph can often become sluggish.

Vibrational Release: Let Go of Stress & Realign With Compassion
Saturday June 13, 2026 5:00pm - 6:00pm EDT
We’ll begin by acknowledging the presence of stress—how it shows up in your life, how it feels, and where you notice it in your body. From that place of awareness, you'll learn how to shift stress in your body using simple breath techniques, gentle movement, and sound frequency practices like humming and listening to clamming sounds to support your body in letting go of tension and recalibrating the nervous system. Throughout this workshop, you’ll be guided to move up the emotional scale—softening stress and heaviness and inviting more love, compassion, and kindness into your experience.
The session concludes with a crystal bowl meditation to help you experience moments of higher frequency, elevating your vibration and aligning your energy with peace, clarity, and openhearted presence.

Shakti Activation with Egyptian Blue Lotus Tea Ceremony
Saturday June 13, 2026 6:00pm - 7:00pm EDT
Shakti Awakening: Blue Lotus Tea Ceremony & Goddess FlowThe Shakti spirit lives within us all.
Creative. Fierce. Nurturing. Wise. Untamed.
In this immersive experience, we begin with a ceremonial serving of Egyptian Blue Lotus tea, a flower long revered in ancient ritual for its calming and subtly heart-opening qualities. Traditionally associated with expanded awareness and devotion, blue lotus invites us into softness, receptivity, and gentle inner vision.
As the tea warms the body, we turn inward.
Through meditation, mantra, and intentional movement, we explore the many faces of the Divine Feminine as honored in yogic tradition and described in sacred texts like the Devi Mahatmya.
We move through archetypes including:
Kali – the fierce liberator who cuts through illusion
Lakshmi – the radiant embodiment of abundance and grace
Shakti – pure creative life force energy
• Additional goddess energies that reflect strength, compassion, intuition, and transformation
The practice begins grounded and intentional, then gradually evolves into expressive, intuitive movement. Structured yoga dissolves into exploration. Breath becomes rhythm. Wisdom becomes embodied experience.

Dark Moon Ceremony: Release & Reset
Saturday June 13, 2026 8:00pm - 9:00pm EDT
Dark Moon Ceremony: Release & Reset
The Dark Moon is the exhale before the inhale — the quiet clearing before new seeds are planted.

In yogic spirituality, transformation begins with awareness and conscious release.

Before intention-setting and new moon wishes, there is a natural pause — a moment to reflect, to notice what feels complete, and to gently release what no longer needs to be carried forward.

In this ceremony, we’ll work with that threshold through guided reflection, written release, breath, and a symbolic fire ritual — offering what we’ve written to the flame as an act of conscious completion.

This is not about force or dramatic transformation. It’s about honoring the rhythm of release before renewal — creating space so what comes next has room to take root.

Participants will leave with:
A simple step-by-step framework and curated playlist for working with the Dark Moon each month
Reflective journaling prompts to support ongoing reflection and release
A moon-based oracle card as a keepsake from the festival, offering a guiding word or reflection prompt for continued journaling and integration

All participation is invitational. No experience needed.
