Opening Meditation "may all beings be happy"
Saturday June 13, 2026 9:00am - 10:00am EDT
Opening Meditation: “May All Beings Be Happy”with Mara Morell of Mrida Seva Yoga
As the sun stretches over Montage Mountain Waterpark and the festival begins to hum, Mara Morell will guide us into our first shared breath of the weekend.
“May All Beings Be Happy” is a heart-centered opening meditation rooted in loving-kindness, or metta, an ancient practice that gently widens the circle of compassion from self… to community… to the entire world.
Through guided meditation, mantra, and intentional silence, Mara will lead us in:
• Softening into presence
• Cultivating compassion for ourselves
• Extending blessings outward to all beings
• Setting a unified intention for the weekend ahead
This is not just a meditation.
It is the energetic cornerstone of the festival.
Together, hundreds of voices will anchor one simple yet profound prayer:
May all beings be happy.
May all beings be peaceful.
May all beings live with ease.
Whether you are brand new to meditation or deeply rooted in your practice, this opening gathering invites you to arrive fully, open your heart, and remember that yoga begins in how we hold the world.
Come early. Bring your mat. Bring your quiet courage.
We begin as one. 🕊️✨

Breathe and BE
Saturday June 13, 2026 1:00pm - 2:00pm EDT
Breathe & BEwith Heather Lyon
Before movement… there was breath.
In the yogic tradition, prāṇāyāma is not simply a breathing technique. It is the conscious expansion of prāṇa — life force itself. The sages taught that breath is the bridge between body and mind, between the visible and the subtle.
In Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, pranayama is the fourth limb of the eightfold path. Patanjali writes that through regulation of breath, the veil covering the inner light is thinned. In other words, when we refine the breath, we refine perception.
In the Hatha Yoga Pradipika, the breath is described as the master key to the nervous system and the mind. “When the breath wanders, the mind is unsteady. When the breath is still, so is the mind.”
This class is rooted in that lineage.
Through conscious connected breathing, immersive music, and grounded spiritual guidance, Heather leads you into an experience that moves beyond technique and into direct encounter with your own vitality.
This style of breathwork can:
• Clear stagnant emotional energy
• Activate the subtle body
• Expand awareness
• Create a natural state of uplifted consciousness
• Offer a euphoric sense of spaciousness and release
Participants often describe feeling luminous, open, deeply alive. Not altered, but awakened. A remembering of something ancient that already lives within you.
Breath becomes prayer.
Breath becomes purification.
Breath becomes a doorway.
You may feel waves of sensation. You may feel profound stillness. You may feel insight rise effortlessly to the surface. Every journey is unique, and Heather holds the space with reverence, safety, and intention.
No substances.
No escape.
Just prāṇa moving freely.
Come lie down.
Soften the body.
Follow the breath into the subtle realms.
And rediscover what it means to truly BE. 🕊️✨

Japa Mantra Meditation with Mala Beads
Saturday June 13, 2026 2:00pm - 3:00pm EDT
Japa Mantra MeditationLearning the Sacred Practice of Mala Beads
This class offers a grounded and accessible introduction to Japa Mantra Meditation, an ancient devotional practice rooted in the yogic tradition and referenced in texts such as the Bhagavad Gita and the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali.
The word japa means “to repeat softly,” and mantra means “instrument of the mind.” Together, Japa is the rhythmic repetition of a sacred sound, word, or phrase to steady the mind and awaken deeper awareness.
In this workshop-style class, students will learn:
• The history and spiritual significance of Japa meditation
• The structure and symbolism of the 108-bead mala
• How to hold and move through the beads properly
• The purpose of the guru bead
• Breath coordination with mantra repetition
• How to choose or connect with a mantra
Traditionally, a mala contains 108 beads, representing spiritual wholeness and the cyclical nature of existence. Each bead becomes an anchor for attention. With every repetition of the mantra, the practitioner gently moves to the next bead, creating a tactile rhythm that keeps the mind from wandering.
This practice activates the parasympathetic nervous system through repetition and breath regulation, while also cultivating focus, devotion, and inner stillness. The vibration of mantra is said to refine consciousness and purify mental fluctuations.
Students may work with a universal mantra such as “Om,” “So Hum,” or a loving-kindness phrase, depending on the intention of the practice.
Expect:
• Gentle guidance into seated meditation
• Instruction on mala use and etiquette
• Group mantra repetition
• Silent personal japa
• Reflection and integration
This practice can be devotional or secular. It can be done for five minutes or an hour. What matters most is sincerity and consistency.
Japa is meditation with movement.
With rhythm.
With intention.
One bead.
One breath.
One mantra at a time.

Metta or Loving Kindness Meditation
Saturday June 13, 2026 3:00pm - 4:00pm EDT
This meditation is rooted in the ancient Buddhist practice of Loving-Kindness, known in Pali as Metta Bhavana, meaning “the cultivation of boundless goodwill.” For centuries, practitioners have used this simple yet profound method to soften the heart, dissolve resentment, and awaken compassion as a lived experience rather than an idea.
At its core, this meditation uses five intentional phrases that are repeated gently, like planting seeds in the soil of the mind. The practice traditionally moves in widening circles:
  1. Ourselves
  2. Someone we love or feel gratitude toward
  3. Someone neutral
  4. Someone difficult
  5. All beings everywhere
We begin with ourselves because compassion cannot authentically extend outward if it does not first take root within. From there, the heart expands gradually, including those who are easy to love and eventually those who challenge us. The practice culminates in extending loving-kindness to all beings without exception, dissolving the illusion of separation.
The classic phrases often sound like:
• May I be safe.
• May I be healthy.
• May I be peaceful.
• May I live with ease.
• May I be free.
These phrases are then adapted as the focus shifts:
“May you be safe…”
“May you be peaceful…”
“May all beings be free…”
The wording is flexible. What matters most is the sincerity behind it. The phrases can be tailored to reflect what feels authentic and aligned, as long as they arise from a genuine place of care and goodwill.
This practice can be:
• A focused five-minute daily reset
• A full hour of deep heart cultivation
• Practiced in one complete arc
• Or explored one category at a time depending on what the heart needs
It is traditionally practiced seated in meditation, but it can also be done lying down, walking slowly, or even integrated into yoga asana or daily life. The beauty of Metta is its accessibility.
For seasoned meditators, it refines and deepens compassion.
For beginners, it offers structure and simplicity.
Over time, loving-kindness meditation has been shown to gently shift inner dialogue, reduce reactivity, and increase feelings of connection and well-being. Spiritually, it is said to purify the heart. Practically, it changes how we show up in the world.
This is not about forcing positive emotion. It is about cultivating the intention of goodwill, even if the feeling follows later.
One phrase.
One breath.
One widening circle at a time.

Are you ready to go beyond the surface of meditation?
Are you ready to enter the silence… and meet the truest version of yourself?

As stillness deepens, we transition into sacred movement through a mindful walking meditation. Here, the senses awaken. Sound becomes alive. Air touches the skin with meaning. Each step becomes intentional. Each moment becomes luminous.

Participants will be gently invited to explore heightened perception—experiencing meditation not only in stillness, but in motion… in awareness… in presence.

We close in circle with space for reflection, integration, and intuitive questions.

Vibrational Release: Let Go of Stress & Realign With Compassion
Saturday June 13, 2026 5:00pm - 6:00pm EDT
We’ll begin by acknowledging the presence of stress—how it shows up in your life, how it feels, and where you notice it in your body. From that place of awareness, you'll learn how to shift stress in your body using simple breath techniques, gentle movement, and sound frequency practices like humming and listening to clamming sounds to support your body in letting go of tension and recalibrating the nervous system. Throughout this workshop, you’ll be guided to move up the emotional scale—softening stress and heaviness and inviting more love, compassion, and kindness into your experience.
The session concludes with a crystal bowl meditation to help you experience moments of higher frequency, elevating your vibration and aligning your energy with peace, clarity, and openhearted presence.

Shakti Activation with Egyptian Blue Lotus Tea Ceremony
Saturday June 13, 2026 6:00pm - 7:00pm EDT
Shakti Awakening: Blue Lotus Tea Ceremony & Goddess FlowThe Shakti spirit lives within us all.
Creative. Fierce. Nurturing. Wise. Untamed.
In this immersive experience, we begin with a ceremonial serving of Egyptian Blue Lotus tea, a flower long revered in ancient ritual for its calming and subtly heart-opening qualities. Traditionally associated with expanded awareness and devotion, blue lotus invites us into softness, receptivity, and gentle inner vision.
As the tea warms the body, we turn inward.
Through meditation, mantra, and intentional movement, we explore the many faces of the Divine Feminine as honored in yogic tradition and described in sacred texts like the Devi Mahatmya.
We move through archetypes including:
Kali – the fierce liberator who cuts through illusion
Lakshmi – the radiant embodiment of abundance and grace
Shakti – pure creative life force energy
• Additional goddess energies that reflect strength, compassion, intuition, and transformation
The practice begins grounded and intentional, then gradually evolves into expressive, intuitive movement. Structured yoga dissolves into exploration. Breath becomes rhythm. Wisdom becomes embodied experience.

We ground to stand tall
Sunday June 14, 2026 1:00pm - 2:00pm EDT
When we intentionally settle and relax the mind, we are not becoming passive. We are becoming steady.
A restless mind pulls the body with it. Shoulders creep upward. Jaw tightens. Breath shortens. Posture collapses or strains. The nervous system stays braced, as if something might happen at any moment.
But when the mind softens, the body reorganizes.
The breath deepens.
The spine lengthens naturally.
The feet root more firmly.
The muscles engage without gripping.
Relaxation is not weakness. It is efficient strength.
In yoga philosophy, when the fluctuations of the mind begin to quiet, we move closer to clarity and alignment. The internal noise that creates tension fades, and what remains is steadiness. This steadiness allows us to stand tall not from force, but from integration.
On the mat, that may look like a mountain pose that feels grounded yet light. A warrior that is stable without strain. A balance pose that feels focused rather than frantic.
Off the mat, it becomes emotional resilience.
When the mind is settled:
• We respond instead of react.
• We speak with intention instead of impulse.
• We move through challenge without collapsing or hardening.
Relaxing the mind builds an inner vertical line, a sense of dignity and calm strength that supports us in conversations, decisions, and stress.
We stand tall because we are not fighting ourselves internally.
We stand strong because our energy is no longer scattered.
True strength is not tension.
It is composure.
And composure begins in a quiet mind.

Sun Saluation & Pranayama
Sunday June 14, 2026 3:00pm - 4:00pm EDT
This class returns us to the foundations of Vinyasa Yoga: our Sun Salutations. After a gentle warm-up, we’ll break down each movement, building strength, awareness, and fluidity as we create a seamless flow.
Once the body is warm and energized, we’ll shift our focus to breathwork, practicing pranayama techniques designed to balance our energy and guide us into a deeper, more centered state of meditation
