Ahimsa Yoga (Non Violence)
Saturday June 13, 2026 9:00am - 9:45am EDT
Ahimsa in ActionNon-Harming as a Living Practice
Within the eightfold path outlined in the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, the Yamas and Niyamas form the ethical foundation of yoga. They are not rules meant to restrict us, but guideposts that refine how we relate to ourselves and the world.
The very first Yama is Ahimsa.
Often translated simply as “non-harming,” Ahimsa invites something much deeper than avoiding violence. It asks us to examine the subtle ways we cause harm through thought, speech, and action and to consciously choose compassion instead.
In this class, we will explore how Ahimsa lives inside the physical practice of yoga.
What does non-harming look like on the mat?
It looks like:
• Listening when the body whispers before it has to scream
• Choosing steadiness over ego
• Backing off when something feels unstable
• Letting comparison dissolve
• Replacing self-criticism with curiosity
Rather than pushing into shapes to prove something, we soften into awareness. We practice honoring our edges without forcing beyond them. We learn to move from self-respect instead of self-judgment.
Ahimsa is self-love in motion.
As we move through mindful sequencing, you’ll be guided to tune into sensation, breath, and internal dialogue. The practice becomes less about performance and more about presence.
When we embody non-harming physically, something shifts off the mat as well. The patience we cultivate with our hamstrings becomes patience with our family. The compassion we offer our tight shoulders becomes compassion in conversation.
Yoga begins with how we treat ourselves.
Through breath, alignment, and conscious choice, this class becomes a living meditation on gentleness.
Not weak.
Not passive.
But powerful in its softness.
Move kindly.
Listen deeply.
Practice Ahimsa in your body and in your life.

Stability in Motion: Finding Ground When Life Shifts
Saturday June 13, 2026 1:00pm - 2:00pm EDT
This class explores yoga as a holistic real-life practice; one that supports us wherever we are, rather than requiring ideal conditions.  Through movement, pause, and reflection, participants will explore how traditional yoga concepts, such as abhyasa (consistent practice) and vairagya (non-attachment) show up in real-life: parenting, work, uncertainty, grief, change, and rest.  Rather than striving for peak poses, this class emphasizes felt experience, nervous system regulation, and the wisdom of listening inward.

Sanctuary: A Slow Nervous System Journey
Saturday June 13, 2026 4:00pm - 5:00pm EDT
Stress-Relieving Slow Flow
Activating the Parasympathetic Nervous System
This class is a deliberate exhale.
Designed to calm the stress response and gently activate the parasympathetic nervous system, this slow flow invites the body out of fight-or-flight and into rest-and-restore. Through unhurried movement, extended exhales, and mindful transitions, we create the conditions for safety in the body.
When the breath slows, the heart follows.
When the pace softens, the mind steadies.
In this practice, you can expect:
• Slow, intentional sequencing
• Emphasis on lengthening the exhale
• Gentle spinal waves and grounded standing work
• Longer holds to encourage muscular release
• Simple breath ratios to stimulate vagal tone
The focus is not intensity. It is regulation.
By synchronizing breath and movement at a calm tempo, we signal to the nervous system that it is safe to downshift. Cortisol levels begin to lower. Muscular guarding eases. Digestion and immune function receive the green light to operate optimally.
This is the yoga of recalibration.
Perfect for anyone feeling overwhelmed, overstimulated, or simply in need of a nervous system reset, this class meets you exactly where you are. No pushing. No rushing. Just steady, grounded awareness.
You will leave feeling:
• Clearer
• More regulated
• Physically lighter
• Mentally quieter
Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is slow down enough to let the body remember how to heal.
Come move gently.
Come breathe deeply.
Come restore.

Vibrational Release: Let Go of Stress & Realign With Compassion
Saturday June 13, 2026 5:00pm - 6:00pm EDT
We’ll begin by acknowledging the presence of stress—how it shows up in your life, how it feels, and where you notice it in your body. From that place of awareness, you'll learn how to shift stress in your body using simple breath techniques, gentle movement, and sound frequency practices like humming and listening to clamming sounds to support your body in letting go of tension and recalibrating the nervous system. Throughout this workshop, you’ll be guided to move up the emotional scale—softening stress and heaviness and inviting more love, compassion, and kindness into your experience.
The session concludes with a crystal bowl meditation to help you experience moments of higher frequency, elevating your vibration and aligning your energy with peace, clarity, and openhearted presence.

Gift of devotion to the Sun from Hanuman
Sunday June 14, 2026 10:00am - 11:00am EDT
The story of Hanuman and Surya and the gift of devotion through the Sun Salutations 🌞✨

n yogic mythology, the mighty and beloved monkey-god Hanuman was not only known for his strength and courage, but for his deep and unwavering devotion.
As a young student eager to learn, Hanuman sought the wisdom of the radiant sun god Surya, who travels across the sky each day in his celestial chariot. Surya initially hesitated. “How can I teach you?” he asked. “I never stop moving across the sky.”
But Hanuman, determined and devoted, promised to face Surya at all times. He leapt into the sky and began traveling alongside the sun, moving backward so he could always remain in his teacher’s presence. Day after day he studied sacred knowledge while journeying across the heavens.
Moved by this extraordinary dedication, Surya accepted him as a student and taught him the Vedas, the scriptures, and the wisdom of life.
It is said that Surya Namaskar — the Sun Salutation — honors this sacred relationship between student and teacher. Each bow, reach, and breath becomes an offering of gratitude to the sun, the source of life, light, and awakening.
Just as Hanuman moved with devotion toward Surya, we move through the Sun Salutations with reverence — cultivating strength, humility, and devotion in every breath.
Each round becomes a moving prayer…
a rhythm of body and spirit greeting the light.
🌞 May your practice be filled with the courage of Hanuman and the radiant wisdom of Surya.

LYT functional yoga Strength + Mobility Flow
Sunday June 14, 2026 10:00am - 11:00am EDT
LYT Strength + Mobility FlowStrength without mobility becomes rigidity.
Mobility without strength becomes instability.
LYT Strength + Mobility Flow is where both meet and refine one another.
This intelligently layered class blends controlled strength training with fluid mobility work to build resilient, adaptable bodies. Expect purposeful sequencing that challenges muscular endurance while simultaneously increasing joint range of motion and functional control.
We move with intention, not speed.
Through dynamic transitions, controlled tempo work, and mindful breath integration, you’ll:
• Build sustainable full-body strength
• Increase joint stability and mobility
• Improve balance and coordination
• Enhance recovery and injury prevention
• Develop body awareness under load
Strength segments may include slow, controlled holds and progressive variations. Mobility sequences will focus on hips, shoulders, spine, and ankles to support long-term structural health.
Breath remains the anchor throughout. Steady inhales create expansion. Lengthened exhales maintain nervous system regulation so power never overrides control.
This is not a frantic workout.
It is disciplined, focused movement.

Vinyasa through the Chakras
Sunday June 14, 2026 4:00pm - 5:00pm EDT
Chakra Alignment FlowMovement • Mantra • Energy Awareness
This intentional flow is a moving meditation through the body’s energetic landscape.
Rooted in the traditional chakra system described in yogic philosophy and referenced in texts like the Hatha Yoga Pradipika, this practice explores the seven primary energy centers as pathways for awareness, balance, and transformation.
Each section of class will focus on one chakra through:
• Targeted asana (postures that stimulate that energetic region)
• Breathwork to direct prāṇa
• Specific bija mantras (seed sounds)
• Intentional affirmations
We begin at the foundation.
Muladhara – Root Chakra
Grounding postures such as malasana and warrior variations.
Mantra: LAM
Theme: Safety, stability, belonging.
Svadhisthana – Sacral Chakra
Hip-opening flows and fluid transitions.
Mantra: VAM
Theme: Creativity, emotion, pleasure.
Manipura – Solar Plexus Chakra
Core activation and strengthening sequences.
Mantra: RAM
Theme: Confidence, personal power.
Anahata – Heart Chakra
Backbends and expansive chest openers.
Mantra: YAM
Theme: Compassion, connection.
Vishuddha – Throat Chakra
Shoulder openers and breath-centered holds.
Mantra: HAM
Theme: Expression, truth.
Ajna – Third Eye Chakra
Balance postures and inward gaze.
Mantra: OM
Theme: Intuition, insight.
Sahasrara – Crown Chakra
Seated meditation and stillness.
Silent awareness.
Theme: Unity, higher consciousness.
The mantras are woven gently into the rhythm of the flow, creating vibration that resonates not only physically, but energetically. Sound, breath, and movement combine to guide prāṇa upward through the subtle body.
This class is accessible yet layered, making it meaningful for both newer practitioners and seasoned yogis seeking deeper energetic awareness.
Expect:
• Fluid transitions with clear energetic intention
• Guided mantra repetition
• Thoughtful sequencing aligned with each chakra
• A final integration in savasana to harmonize the system
This is not just a physical practice. It is an internal alignment.
Move with awareness.
Chant with intention.
Leave feeling balanced from root to crown. ✨
